About Peter
I am an experienced musician in many styles. I have a graduate degree in classical violin performance from RNCM, but I also have strong roots in jazz and have played as a bass guitarist and guitarist in many jazz combos. I also have a passion for rock music in its many forms and would be happy to teach any of the above instruments/genres as well as acoustic guitar.

I provide a structured and clear approach, building from the ground up and making the process fun and enjoyable every step of the way. I find this is the best way to create lasting progress that sticks. I prefer to teach using a mixture of tablature and musical notation in comparison to playing by ear, as I have found this makes for a more satisfying progress arc.
