About Cherry
Hello! My name is Cherry and I teach Korean in a practical and friendly way.
I have several years of experience learning Korean and I focus a lot on how Korean is really used in daily life, not just textbook Korean. I especially like to teach speaking, writing, and useful expressions that you can use in real conversations, TOPIK, and Korean culture.
My lessons are relaxed but structured. I will help you build confidence step by step. Many students feel scared to speak Korean, so in my class, it is okay to make mistakes. That is how we improve.
I can teach:
* Complete beginners (no Hangul is okay)
* Conversation practice
* Writing correction
* TOPIK preparation (Beginner)
* Korean for travel
* Korean for K-drama & real-life expressions
I prepare my own materials and I always try to make lessons interesting and easy to understand. I also explain cultural context so you can understand not just the language, but also how Korean people think and speak in different situations.

My lessons are customized based on each student’s level, goals, and learning style. Before we start, I will ask about your goals (conversation, TOPIK, travel, hobby, etc.) so the lessons are useful and not just general studying.
I may use existing textbooks, online materials, or create my own materials depending on what suits you best. Some students prefer structured textbooks, while others prefer speaking practice, real-life expressions, or writing practice, so I adjust the lesson style for each student.
In my lessons, we may focus on:
* Speaking practice (daily conversation, topic discussion)
* Writing (sentence correction, TOPIK writing, journal writing)
* Listening and pronunciation
* Grammar in real-life situations
* Useful expressions from real Korean usage
* Korean culture and communication style
My goal is to help you use Korean naturally and confidently, not just memorize grammar. Lessons are relaxed, interactive, and step-by-step, so you don’t need to feel pressured or scared to make mistakes.
