About Maira
Engineering graduate and London fintech professional offering friendly, structured maths tuition for primary, KS3 and GCSE students.
I hold a degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering and have 8 years of professional experience working in fintech in London. Alongside my industry career, I have provided over 100 hours of maths tutoring at Learning Links Tuition Centre, supporting students with confidence-building, problem solving, and exam preparation.
I specialise in:
* Primary maths and Science
* KS3 maths
* GCSE Maths and Science (Foundation and Higher)
* Maths confidence and revision support
* STEM-focused learning approaches
My teaching style is patient and practical. I focus on helping students understand concepts step-by-step rather than simply memorising methods. I especially enjoy helping students who feel anxious or lack confidence in maths.
Because of my engineering and finance background, I can also show students how maths is used in real careers and real-world problem solving.
