About Hannah
Hi!
My name is Hannah, and I am a qualified Biomedical Engineer and Biomedical Scientist, ever since I was young, I have had a passion for science. I have challenged myself and have gained extensive experience within the three fundamental science subjects: biology, chemistry and physics.
I have experience teaching children up to peers my age, on key principles and more advanced theories within science. Science excites me, and I want it to excite you too! It can be extremely daunting for students to take in so much information at once.
The trick about learning in science, it's about the way you think!, I don't overwhelm my students with too much information that they will not remember. I want to teach you how to develop problem-solving skills and establish more effective memory-based techniques. These will help you in the long-term when it comes to any science subject!
My tutoring is very much adapted to you; if you are struggling on a specific subject, need help for an upcoming exam, or even proofreading on science reports!
I am extremely flexible and want to build a positive relationship with my students. On top of 1:1 tutoring, I will also provide:
- An initial free learning style test
- Interactive 1:1 sessions dependent on the students learning style
- Regular homework and assessments for evidence of progression
EXTRAS:
- Proof-reading up to University level; literature reviews, thesis/ dissertation writing, research papers and
essays.
- Advice/prep for scientific presentations
- Career/ education advice
- Proof-reading of CV/ cover letters for potential internships and graduate jobs.
