About Daniel
Hi! I’m Daniel, currently a PhD candidate in Applied Physics at Stanford University. Originally from Denver, I’ve been tutoring since 2018, working with high schoolers preparing for AP exams as well as first-year undergraduates. My seven years of experience range from one-on-one sessions to small group workshops. I believe in making physics approachable and enjoyable. When not tutoring, I volunteer at local science outreach programs.

I focus on building strong conceptual foundations through interactive discussions and visualization tools. Each lesson starts with a brief conceptual question to gauge understanding, followed by explanatory diagrams (drawn on a digital whiteboard) and guided practice problems. We cover topics like kinematics, optics, and thermodynamics, and I provide customized worksheets targeting each student’s weak areas.
