About Ruhini
I am currently starting my Foundation Year in Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, with the goal of progressing into Aerospace Engineering. I have always been passionate about Maths, Physics and Chemistry and enjoy helping others understand concepts that may initially seem difficult. Having recently completed my A-levels, I can relate to the challenges students face and aim to make learning feel approachable, enjoyable and rewarding. I am patient, friendly and committed to helping every student build confidence and reach their full potential.

I offer friendly, personalised one-hour online lessons from Edinburgh, alongside my studies at Heriot-Watt University.
I tutor both Foundation and Higher tiers, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, confidence and goals.
After each lesson, I will provide relevant notes, resources and practice or past-paper questions for students to use for revision and further practice. Lessons can also extend beyond one hour when additional support is needed, at no extra cost.
More than one lesson per week can be arranged where appropriate.
My aim is not only to help students achieve the grades they are capable of, but also to build their confidence, break away from years of feeling that a subject is “too difficult”, and create a comfortable, supportive learning environment where they can ask questions without hesitation.
Ultimately, I want students to understand what they are learning, feel genuinely confident in their abilities, and hopefully even begin to enjoy a subject they once struggled with.
