About Katie
I am currently in my 4th year at the University of Exeter studying Applied (Clinical) Psychology. I took the following A Levels: Psychology (A), Sociology(A), Music(C) and Core Maths(B). Experience in statistics, social, clinical, cognitive, biological, animal, and developmental psychology. Predicted a high 2:1/1st at the end of my final integrated masters year I have experience in online/face to face tutoring and working with vulnerable adults and children. Over 4 years of experience tutoring A Level Psychology and Degree level Psychology. My approach is very individualistic- some students prefer going through exam questions and some prefer lessons on specific topics. I tend to go over the topic that the student would like to go through, make sure they fully understand and then finish with some assisted exam questions as this, in my personal experience, is what will make a difference. I’m more than happy to go over work a student has completed in ‘class’ if the understanding isn’t there. I know remote learning can be challenging so I try and make lessons as interesting and enjoyable as possible!

Katie is very patient and genuinely enjoys helping others. Her knowledge for Psychology is expansive and she explains things in simple, yet detailed ways, which aids understanding.
Katie is a hard-working and dedicated student who is always keen to help others. Her knowledge and enthusiasm in psychology is amazing and she knows the answer to literally any question. We both studied psychology and if you were ever in doubt about anything.. Katie was and is your go to person! She knows the course inside out which is really handy when linking all the topics together for exam questions. She pushes you and encourages you to try your absolute best and without her I don't think I would have done too well!
