About Sofiah
Hi! I’m Sofiah Abdoollah, a second-year History student at King’s College London, predicted a First. I’m passionate about History and English, and I love helping students develop a deep understanding of these subjects while achieving their highest potential. Having achieved top grades myself—9s at GCSE in both History and English, and strong marks at A-level—I understand what it takes to succeed academically. Over time, I’ve mastered exam techniques, essay structures, and study strategies that make learning effective, enjoyable, and rewarding. I’m friendly, approachable, and dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and tackling challenges. My goal is to help every student not just improve their grades, but also develop a genuine interest in the subjects and the skills to excel independently. Whether you’re a primary student building your foundations or a GCSE student aiming for top marks, I’m here to guide, motivate, and inspire you every step of the way.

I found Sofiah on Superprof for A-Level History, and honestly she was a lifesaver. About a month before my exams I was still on Cs, but after just a few lessons with her I got an A (only 4 marks off an A*). Wish I’d started with her sooner!
Her teaching style is super clear and chilled — she explains things in a way that actually makes sense and helps you get past the tricky bits without stressing. She’s also really understanding and makes lessons feel way less overwhelming.
I’d 100% recommend her to anyone doing GCSEs or A-Levels if you want to boost your grades and actually enjoy the subject at the same time.I would highly recommend Sofiah . She was tutoring my daughter and taught her stuffs that school did not teach her. My daughter got an A while she was predicted a B and thats all due to Sofiah's teaching and dedication.
