About Ayo
I am a third-year McGill undergraduate student in the joint honours philosophy and sociology program. I have several years of experience tutoring English language, English literature, history. Last year, I became a private tutor of philosophical logic, hired by McGill's Philosophy Student Association.

I teach according to a 3-step plan: understand, explain, and analyse. First, I take time to clearly explain the basic concepts of a topic, so that the student understands it. Then, I test the student, by asking for an explanation of the topic. Finally, I discuss the significance of the topic with the student, relating it analytically to personal and social interests.
