About Alizee
Hi! My name is Alizée, and I am a Natural Sciences student at the University of Exeter. I am French and have lived in France for most of my life. As such, I am fluent in French and graduated with the French Baccalaureate and International Option (OIB) with high honours. I scored an 18/20 (equivalent of an A*) on my French literature written exam, one of the subjects of the Baccalaureate.
I am willing to work on any or all aspects of the language and can work with tutees of different age groups and levels. I enjoy helping others and believe I can deliver lessons in a dynamic, engaging way!
At the University of Exeter, I have been a student ambassador for almost a year. This means that I regularly gives tours and talks to prospective students and school children who come visit the University. Working with various age groups gives me the capacity to adjust what it is that I am saying so that it is fully understood by the audience that is in front of me.
In my old school in France, I was chosen to be a Writing Fellow, where I edited and peer reviewed papers that fellow students had written. I also provided these students with detailed feedback. On a more personal level, I used to row back in my home town. Every year we would teach the newcomers the movements we practiced over and over again.
From these different personal and professional experiences I am confident that I will be able to adapt my lessons to fit any student’s needs.

Alizee has been working as a student ambassador at The University of Exeter since January 2015. So far, Alizee has worked on a variety of events including supporting a number of post-offer open days, leading campus tours, and helping with some subject days on campus.I am Alizee's personal tutor at the University of Exeter. She is a very good student and highly conscientious. She speaks both English and French fluently. I believe she would be an excellent, and also kind, tutor.
