Teaching Method : My approach to teaching design is highly practical and flexible, tailored to each student’s goals and level. I use examples from my past design projects, including both academic assignments and professional work from my internship, to explain how design principles can be applied in real situations. Lessons focus not only on software techniques—such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premiere Pro—but also on fundamental design concepts like color, layout, balance, and typography. I believe the most effective way to learn design is through hands-on practice, so I often create projects together with my students. I also prepare my own teaching materials, including step-by-step guides and visual references, to make sure the lessons are clear and easy to follow. Lesson Duration : The standard lesson length is 60 minutes, which allows us enough time to introduce a concept, practice it through exercises, and review the results. However, I can also adjust lesson times between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the student’s schedule and learning style. Experience : I am currently studying in a Design faculty and have gained strong practical experience through both an internship and an exhibition. From February to April 2025, I worked as a multimedia artist at FSI Venture, a football education agency, where I redesigned official documents to improve their visual impact. This included modernizing layouts, recreating graphics with Photoshop and Illustrator, and ensuring consistency across multiple booklets. The internship taught me not only technical design skills but also how to work in a team, understand the purpose of each project, and deliver professional results. At college, I have focused on image editing, graphic design, and video editing, achieving an A- in Visual Communication. I independently developed my skills using online resources, and I am confident in using Adobe software to create effective visuals that communicate information clearly and creatively. Target Students : My design lessons are open to everyone, from complete beginners who want to explore design as a hobby to intermediate learners preparing for academic or professional paths. I welcome students of all ages, from young children interested in creative activities to adults seeking to improve their design skills for work. Because of my international study background, I can also teach in English, making my lessons accessible for non-Japanese speakers. My goal is to help each student build confidence and enjoy the process of creating visually impactful designs.
