About Laura
I am a French native speaker and French tutor who has been living in Sydney for 7 years now. I teach full-time to all levels A1 to C1, teenagers, adults, retirees. I have been tutoring for the past two years; before that, I worked in Marketing and Human Resources in Sydney, Paris, Guadeloupe. I have Master's degrees in Marketing in French and diplomas in Human Resources and Marketing in Australia.

My sessions' content and methodology vary depending on the students' levels, their ages, curriculum/goal, and interests. It is very personalized. If you want to become fluent in French and expatriate yourself, you found the right ally. I personally really like focusing on real practical skills for daily life and work/studies. I give homework (if you agree) and I translate articles with/or for some of my advanced students as I also like translating articles. I prepare some students for the IB, DELF, DALF.

I meet Laura through a language website. I was seeking an original French speaking teacher from France. Someone who I would easily relate too as I had spent some time in France. In addition looking for someone who would be able to teach my 5year old daughter, have patience, understanding and gentle approach to children. Laura has demonstrated excellent skill in introducing the French language to my 5yr old daughter. On one of the lessons we decided to go to an Art, craft and Farmers market were we spoke French amongst the outdoors and used French words to explain a everyday real situation. Living the real experience of speaking French outside of theory. Laura has meticulous attention to grammar and takes time explaining and translating the language. A very calm, effective and professional approach.
I have had Laura as a French Teacher over the past year. Laura is a fabulous teacher who is a native French speaker with an excellent grasp of French Grammar and the French language. We look forward to Laura's weekly lessons, the content is both educational and challenging, but meets our own level of knowledge. I would highly recommend Laura to teach French.
