About Freya
My teaching approach to French is built on compassion and understanding. I know every student learns differently, so I take time to listen and support each learner’s needs. I create a safe space where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, helping them grow without fear. Communication is at the heart of my lessons. I focus on speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, using real-life conversations, French culture, and media to make learning meaningful. I also include grammar and vocabulary in practical ways so students can use French confidently in school, exams, and daily life. I use games, stories, and role-playing to make French come alive. Accountability is important too — I set clear goals and track progress with students to keep them motivated. Together, we build strong skills and a love for the French language.

I am a dedicated French tutor with 8 years of experience teaching High School and College students. During this time, I have successfully helped 150 to 200 students improve their French skills in speaking, writing, and reading. I take pride in seeing my students gain confidence and achieve their language goals.
My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear communication, and making lessons interesting. I believe learning French should be fun and practical, so I include real-life examples and cultural insights in my lessons. This approach helps students connect with the language and use it effectively.
Over the years, many of my students have achieved excellent results in their exams and daily communication. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs, ensuring they feel supported and motivated. I am committed to helping every student enjoy learning French and succeed.
