About Ivy
My interest in French began through a fascination with language, international cultures, and global communication. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature followed by a Master of Arts in French Language Studies. Over the past 7 years, I have worked with students from diverse backgrounds, helping them achieve their language goals through supportive and personalized instruction. Teaching French allows me to share my enthusiasm for both language learning and cultural exploration.
I believe effective teaching involves creating lessons that are both structured and engaging. My approach focuses on helping students understand language patterns while building confidence through regular communication practice. By combining grammar instruction with meaningful conversation activities, I help learners develop practical skills they can use immediately. I encourage students to view mistakes as valuable learning opportunities and part of the growth process.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, language history, and cultural traditions. These interests help me bring authentic insights and fresh perspectives into my lessons. Watching students gain confidence and communicate more naturally in French is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession. I look forward to helping learners achieve their goals and discover the richness of the French language.

My French lessons focus on helping students build practical communication skills while developing a strong understanding of the language.
