Catherine is a truly fantastic tutor. I was getting a C/D average on my exams in the first year of sixth form, but with Catherine's help I achieved an A in my A Level results this summer.

Catherine's extensive knoweldge of both the A Level sylabus and her background as a history teacher allowed me to gain in-depth knowledge about French culture, and learn information that I was able to apply in other areas of the exam.

Additionally, she tailors each individual lesson to your needs whether that is help with speaking and pronounciation, listening to audios or writing essays. She also provides many worksheets after the lessons and booklets which explain French grammar in simpler concepts.

I could not recommend Catherine more as a teacher, I would not have been able to achieve my A grade without her!

Catherine really helped me prepare for my French A-Level, specifically the grammar, speaking and reading work we did together was top quality and boosted my confidence before my exams. Catherine is also extremely flexible, time wise and in terms of teaching to match my needs.

I studied with Catherine in preparation for a TFC DAP exam in order to study at a French university and in just a couple of months we made a lot of progress and I was able to pass the exam with the grade needed for the university. Catherine was very helpful throughout this whole process as she explained the differences between the different boards and helped choose the right exam for me, as well as guiding me through the application process. She is always warm and encouraging and is a great teacher!

Catherine gave me 1-2-1 lessons (2hrs) in French over a 13 week period covering 2017 - May 2018. She was flexible in her approach, always asked what I wanted to learn and where I thought I needed more help so that she could ensure the lessons were relevant. Speaking, listening, writing and reading were covered in each lesson and Catherine always provided a range of materials. She was an engaged and engaging teacher as well as being a very nice person.
