About María
About me
Dear students, thank you for your interest in my profile. My name is María Arregocés, and I am an English and French teacher with experience teaching children, young people, and adults since 2017.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work with students of various nationalities in both Colombia and France, which has allowed me to enrich my intercultural approach.
I have a Master's degree in Educational Engineering from the University of Paris Nanterre, which has provided me with the necessary tools to design personalized study plans, adapted to each student's profile and learning objectives.
I currently work with adult migrants in Canada and France, supporting their linguistic and cultural integration through foreign languages. My main goal is to contribute to their life projects by offering practical, human, and transformative learning.

My teaching methodology
My approach focuses on effective and practical communication, always tailored to the needs and goals of each student. I use authentic and personalized material according to the learning project of each student, which makes each class useful and motivating.
I am particularly interested in developing communication skills, working with everyday topics that make it easier to express oneself confidently in real-life situations. In this way, my students can function both in everyday life and in academic and professional contexts.
