• 3) Is there a typical word, phrase, tradition or behavior in the language that you particularly like?

  I love the fact that Spanish still uses every tenses of subjunctive compared to French that only uses subjunctive present nowadays.

• 4) Why does speaking this language matter to you?

  Every single language is a way to see the world through different perspectives. I like having a wide vision of the world.

• 5) What is the main difficulty in learning this language and what can help the process of learning?

  I believe everyone can learn languages it is a matter of finding the right method since everyone is unique.

• 6) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your language learning or your days at school.

  Learning languages in school helped me understand the same things through different methods. I now use different methods depending on each student.

• 7) How has travel or a specific trip helped you to increase your skill and knowledge of the language?

  At 18 I traveled to Ecuador to learn Spanish. Learning languages through immersion is the best method to absorb linguistic knowledge.

  I’m now a trilingual interpreter and translator. I’m still tutoring by passion. I always renew my methods because every student is unique.
