About Yeva
I am a passionate student who wants to share my love of languages with other students. Growing up bilingual allowed me to truly appreciate the benefits of learning and speaking another language. However, it also meant that I had to learn techniques on my own to help my brain remember different words and rules. I have now applied these techniques when learning other languages which is why I can now speak four languages fluently. I am friendly, communicative and happy to help with anything. Teaching excites me and I want to meet new people, and help them discover their strengths. I am a fluent French speaker and have tutored KS1 and KS2 pupils who wanted support with French reading and vocabulary.

I believe that pupils should love the language that they are learning so music, film and media appreciation is key. I aim to teach culture as well as grammar. My lessons are for ages 7-15. Lessons last typically one hour but can be shortened upon request. I happily offer one free trial lesson and if students choose to continue, I will prepare small recap quizzes to help them recall information at the start of each lesson. My aim is to help students discover their strengths and weaknesses whilst having fun, interesting lessons. As a bilingual person, I can clearly communicate and help with French orals, exam preparation, or just class work to provide support for students studying French. I want to help pupils achieve their goals no matter what it is! I have experience as the leader of a pupil French society in which we read literature, review films, and have active discussions in French. Merci :)

Yeva is a fantastic student who works hard, has the dedication and is constantly helping others. She is patient and really has a passion for French which would make her lessons not only beneficial but also enjoyable. I couldn't recommend her more. She also trained me with my accent as I struggle with pronunciation. She was kind, and understanding and I feel a significant improvement.
