About Antoine
My name is Antoine, I am a French native speaker from one of the Overseas Territories of France, l’Île de la Réunion, in the Indian Ocean.
I have a strong academic background, having undertaken my undergraduate studies in one of the most prestigious political studies institutes of France, Sciences Po Bordeaux; followed by a Master’s Degree in Politics from the University of Manchester. Both my dissertations were comparative studies of the French and British political systems, the first looking at possible crisis of democracy, and the second focused on a historical institutional analysis of the Far Right in both countries.
I have been a local school governor for the past couple of years and working alongside teachers, understanding their passion and sense of duty has inspired me. I would love to be able to help and support students in their academic journey, to assist them in meeting their goals and preparing them for their higher education adventures.

I have a Master’s Degree in Politics from the University of Manchester. In my studies, I have had a particular focus on British and French politics. I also have a deep interest and a depth of knowledge in political philosophy and theory. Whilst lessons will be tailored to individual students, I will always ensure that concepts and subjects studied are linked to wider political theory, philosophy and history (and of course current affairs and trends).
