About Rachel
Teaching and creating educational material is what I love to do. Mother of 3 children, I homeschool them while developing some fun teaching resources and methods for my children and also for sharing to other teachers and students.
After obtaining a Baccalaureat in literature, I studied Music and Art History for 3 years in the university of Paris-Sorbonne. As well as continuing music studies at the conservatory. I taught music for 3 years in a music school and in primary schools before accepting a job as a teacher in an elementary school in Guinea(Africa) for an humanitarian organization . I taught for 4 years, first grade and 2 grade. I also participated in educational programs in Ukraine.
Since the last 10 years I homeschool my children in french, English and Italian , gaining experience in teaching levels from kindergarten to grade 6. At the same time I also give private lessons in French and English.

I like to adapt my method of teaching according to the need of my students and to their way of learning and retaining the best.
For children, my favorite approach is using games, stories, rhymes, activities and visuals that will allow the child to use their five senses.
For adults I privilege the conversational method , and full immersion, keeping in mind that sometimes we learn better knowing the “why’s and how’s” of a language and for that reason getting deeper into spelling and grammar rules. Without forgetting to have fun of course!

Perfect! Rachel è un’insegnante di francese fantastica! È sempre disponibile e ti mette subito a tuo agio. Essendo madrelingua, ti aiuta tantissimo a migliorare, soprattutto nella pronuncia e nella conversazione. Le lezioni con lei sono utili e piacevoli, la consiglio davvero!
Perfect! Mio figlio si è trovato abbastanza bene.
Pur sapendo che, attualmente, le lezioni, possono essere esclussivamente on-line, vorrebbe in futuro (appena sarà autorizzato dallo stato) poter tenere le lezioni in presenza. Lui ha problemi anche con la scrittura e teme di no poter crescere nella parte scritta.View more reviews

Rachel e' un insegnante veramente bravissima! L'ho conosciuta tanti anni fa e di recente ho cominciato a fare delle lezioni di francese con lei. Prima d'iniziare, ho avuto modo di osservarla mentre insegnava ad altri, sia bambini che adulti. Mi ha subito stupito per la sua preparazione e conoscienza. È molto paziente e io, che mi vergogno a parlare francese per via della pronuncia, mi sono sentita veramente a mio agio. Ha saputo individuare immediatamente i miei punti deboli, aiutandomi a superare questi blocchi che da sola non riuscivo a capire come sbagliavo e come risolvere. Assolutamente raccomandata--e' l'insegnante migliore che io conosca! Grazie di nuovo Rachel!
Rachel è una persona molto dolce e che lavora molto bene con i bambini. È madrelingua francese ed è stata insegnante dei miei figli (6 e 3 anni) lo scorso anno. Abbiamo vissuto una esperienza molto positiva.
