About Ruby
My interest in French developed through a fascination with language, literature, and international culture. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Languages before earning a PhD in French Language Education. Over the last 9 years, I have helped students build confidence and achieve meaningful progress in French.
I believe language learning should be interactive, practical, and motivating. My teaching style focuses on helping students understand how the language works while giving them opportunities to use it actively. I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging and adapted to individual learning goals.
Beyond teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, exploring cultural history, and staying connected with developments in language education. These interests bring authenticity and depth to my lessons. Supporting students as they gain fluency and confidence in French remains a highly rewarding part of my work.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate confidently while building strong language foundations. We focus on pronunciation, vocabulary growth, grammar understanding, listening comprehension, and practical conversation through engaging and structured activities. I aim to make learning approachable and enjoyable from the very first lesson.
As learners become more comfortable, we expand into advanced sentence building, cultural topics, reading practice, idiomatic expressions, and real-life communication scenarios. Lessons often include discussions, interactive exercises, and listening activities that help students use French naturally and effectively.
I create a supportive environment where students can develop fluency without fear of making mistakes. Every lesson encourages active participation and gradual improvement. My goal is to help learners become confident French speakers who can communicate clearly in a variety of situations.
