About Lila
My interest in French started through a fascination with language, culture, and international communication. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Languages before earning a PhD in French Linguistics and Communication. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have helped students achieve a wide variety of language goals.
I believe learning is most successful when students feel encouraged and supported. My teaching style focuses on practical communication and gradual skill building through meaningful interaction. I enjoy helping learners gain confidence while overcoming challenges.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, studying cultural history, and exploring language-learning research. These interests bring fresh ideas and valuable context into my lessons. Helping students become confident French speakers remains one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My French lessons are designed to help students build practical communication skills in a supportive and engaging environment. We focus on pronunciation, vocabulary development, grammar understanding, listening comprehension, reading practice, and speaking fluency through interactive activities and real-world examples. Every lesson encourages active participation and meaningful progress.
As learners continue developing their skills, we explore conversational techniques, cultural traditions, sentence construction, idiomatic expressions, comprehension strategies, and communication for travel, work, and education.
