About Ivy
My interest in French began through a passion for language and cultural communication. I completed a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and have 7 years of teaching experience. I have worked with learners from different backgrounds, helping them improve fluency and confidence. Teaching French allows me to combine language knowledge with cultural understanding.
I believe learning happens best through practice and interaction. My teaching style focuses on conversation, clarity, and structured progression. I encourage students to speak actively and learn through real communication. This helps build long-term confidence and fluency.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature and exploring cultural traditions. These experiences help me bring authenticity into my lessons. Seeing students become confident French speakers is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate naturally in everyday situations. I teach listening comprehension, verb conjugation, grammar structure, vocabulary building, pronunciation practice, sentence formation, and conversational fluency. Each topic is explained clearly and practiced through speaking and listening activities. The goal is to help students use French confidently in real situations.
Lessons are adapted to each student’s level and learning needs. Beginners focus on basic phrases, pronunciation, and simple grammar rules. Intermediate learners improve fluency, listening skills, and sentence-building ability. Advanced students refine expression, vocabulary depth, and natural communication style. Students preparing for travel or exams receive focused speaking practice and practical scenarios. Regular feedback ensures steady improvement.
Learning French should feel engaging and supportive. My lessons create a relaxed environment where students can practice without fear of mistakes. As confidence grows, learners become more fluent and expressive. My goal is to help students build strong communication skills for real-life use.
