About Kathryn
I am currently a 4th year Romance Languages major with French as one of my languages. I spent last summer teaching French in an immersion setting at Concordia Language Villages. I taught students ages 7-17 with levels varying from beginners to advanced. Teaching at camp, it is also important to make French fun!

I believe that students learn best by practicing and hearing a language. I speak as much French as possible, using mimes or pictures to help students understand. I also encourage students to speak French even if they are not confident in their accuracy. A safe and comfortable environment in which students are able to experiment with language is key.
