About Rhea
My fascination with French began through interest in global communication, literature, and cultural exploration during my academic journey. This passion encouraged me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in French and International Studies, where I explored language structure and communication methods deeply. Over the past 6 years, I have worked with students from different educational backgrounds while helping them strengthen fluency and confidence through supportive language instruction.
I believe language education should feel approachable, interactive, and practical for every learner regardless of previous experience. My teaching style focuses on conversation practice, relatable examples, and structured explanation that help students understand French naturally instead of relying completely on memorization techniques. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and communicate actively because confidence develops through participation and supportive interaction during lessons.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French cinema, reading Francophone novels, and learning about traditions across French-speaking cultures. Staying creatively connected to language helps me bring fresh discussions and practical cultural insight into lessons regularly. Teaching French is deeply rewarding because I enjoy helping students become more confident communicators over time. My goal is always to support learners in building strong language skills while developing appreciation for French expression and culture.

My French lessons focus on helping students communicate comfortably through structured conversation practice, practical grammar exercises, and engaging language activities. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, and simple sentence structure, while advanced learners work on listening precision, fluent speaking, writing development, and expressive communication. I include storytelling activities, guided discussions, reading exercises, and roleplay situations regularly because active participation strengthens understanding and memory retention effectively. Students receive supportive guidance that helps them improve comfortably without unnecessary pressure or discouragement during lessons.
I aim to create a calm atmosphere where students feel confident practicing French naturally in practical and meaningful situations. Many learners initially struggle with speaking hesitation, so I focus on gradual fluency development through patience and positive encouragement. Over time, students improve pronunciation, communication skills, and listening ability naturally. French becomes far more rewarding when learners realize they can express themselves clearly while building strong connection with the language and culture.
