About Eleni
I have 13 years of experience teaching French, and I hold a PhD in French Linguistics. My journey with the language began with a strong interest in communication and cultural understanding, which gradually developed into a deep academic and teaching passion. Over the years, I have worked with many students from different backgrounds, helping them improve their skills through clear explanation and structured guidance.
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and flexible. I understand that every student learns differently, so I take time to understand their pace and adjust my teaching approach accordingly. I focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions, practice freely, and build confidence step by step.
Outside of teaching, I continue studying the French language through reading, research, and cultural exploration. This helps me bring real-life context into my lessons and keep them meaningful and engaging. Teaching French is very rewarding to me because I see students grow from beginners into confident speakers. Supporting their progress and helping them achieve their goals gives me a strong sense of purpose and satisfaction.

My French lessons are designed to make learning simple, clear, and comfortable for students at all levels. I focus on building strong foundations in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure while explaining each concept in easy English. Lessons include a balanced mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities so that students can develop complete language skills and use them confidently in real-life situations.
I adapt every lesson based on the student’s level and learning needs so that progress feels steady and well-supported. Beginners start with basic words, pronunciation, and simple sentence formation. Intermediate learners improve grammar accuracy, expand vocabulary, and practice conversations in different situations. Advanced learners focus on fluency, detailed expression, and understanding complex language structures. I provide clear explanations, regular practice, and gentle correction to help students improve without feeling overwhelmed.
As students continue learning, they begin to feel more confident using French in daily communication. They understand conversations more easily and express their thoughts with greater clarity. Over time, they become more independent in using the language and develop a deeper connection with it. My goal is to help learners feel comfortable, confident, and capable in French so they can use it naturally for study, travel, or personal growth, while building strong and lasting language skills.
