About Mira
My passion for French began through an interest in language, literature, and international culture. This fascination led me to complete a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies, a Master of Arts in Applied Linguistics, and a PhD in French Linguistics. Over the past 12 years, I have helped students strengthen their language skills through engaging and supportive instruction.
I believe language learning is most successful when students actively use the language in meaningful ways. My teaching approach emphasizes communication, practical application, and gradual skill development. Through personalized lessons and interactive activities, I help learners build both competence and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring French literature, cultural history, and language research. These interests enrich my lessons and provide students with valuable cultural perspectives. Helping learners communicate confidently in French remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

My French lessons are designed to help students communicate effectively while developing a strong understanding of the language and its cultural context. Learners work on speaking, listening, reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary development, conversational fluency, and comprehension through structured activities and interactive discussions. I focus on helping students understand language patterns so they can communicate confidently and independently. Every lesson supports practical language use and steady improvement.
Lessons are tailored to each learner's needs, goals, and experience level. Beginners focus on pronunciation, simple conversations, and essential grammar structures. Intermediate students strengthen fluency, listening comprehension, and written communication.
