About Amara
My interest in French began through fascination with European culture, literature, and language structure during my academic journey. This inspired me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in French Studies followed by a Master’s Degree in French Linguistics and Communication Studies. Over the past 10 years, I have worked with students from different backgrounds to help them build fluency and confidence.
I believe language learning should feel practical, engaging, and accessible. My teaching style focuses on real-life conversation practice, structured explanation, and supportive feedback that help students understand French naturally. I encourage students to speak freely because confidence develops through practice and interaction.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading French literature, watching films, and exploring Francophone culture. Staying connected to the language helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching French is meaningful to me because I enjoy helping students communicate confidently. My goal is to support every learner in speaking French naturally and comfortably.

My French lessons focus on helping students speak and understand the language through practical communication, structured grammar guidance, and interactive exercises. I teach pronunciation, vocabulary building, sentence formation, listening comprehension, reading skills, and conversational fluency in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how regular practice improves confidence and natural expression over time. Every lesson is designed to feel simple, clear, and encouraging.
Lessons are adapted carefully based on each learner’s level and goals. Beginners focus on greetings, pronunciation practice, and basic sentence building, while advanced learners work on fluent conversation, listening accuracy, writing skills, and expressive communication. I include roleplays, storytelling activities, reading passages, and guided discussions regularly because active participation strengthens understanding effectively. Students receive gentle correction that helps them improve without pressure or confusion.
I aim to create a friendly learning space where students feel comfortable using French in real-life situations. Many learners struggle with speaking hesitation, so I focus on gradual confidence building through repetition and encouragement. Over time, students become more fluent, expressive, and confident. French becomes easier when learners feel relaxed and supported throughout their journey.
