About Iris
My passion for French began through a love of languages and cultural exploration. This interest inspired me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in French Language and Society and pursue a career in language education. During my 5 years of teaching experience, I have supported students with a wide variety of learning objectives.
I believe successful teaching requires patience, adaptability, and genuine enthusiasm for student progress. My approach focuses on helping learners build practical communication skills while gaining confidence in their abilities. I enjoy creating lessons that are engaging, supportive, and relevant to real-life situations.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading French publications, exploring cultural history, and studying language-learning methods. These interests help me bring authenticity and variety into lessons. Supporting students as they achieve their language goals continues to inspire me as an educator.

My French lessons are designed to help students build confidence while developing practical language skills. We focus on pronunciation, grammar understanding, vocabulary expansion, listening comprehension, reading practice, and conversational ability through structured and engaging activities. Every lesson encourages active participation and meaningful language use.
As students gain confidence, we explore more advanced communication skills, cultural topics, authentic texts, idiomatic expressions, and real-world situations. Lessons include discussions, roleplays, listening activities, and guided speaking exercises that help learners use French naturally. Each session is personalized to support individual learning goals.
I believe language learning should feel encouraging and rewarding. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where students can practice without fear of mistakes. Every lesson helps learners move closer to fluency while developing a deeper appreciation for French language and culture.
