Hello everyone
My name is Lola, I’m French and currently living in the United States. I offer French lessons for all levels, whether you’re a beginner or advanced, with a personalized and tailored approach to your needs.
My teaching method
I focus on a communicative and interactive approach. My goal is to immerse you in the language, making you speak, listen, and read in French from the very first lesson. I use a variety of resources such as articles, videos, podcasts, and interactive exercises to make learning lively and engaging.
A typical lesson plan:
1. Introduction and review : We start by reviewing the concepts from the previous lesson.
2. New concepts: Introduction of new vocabulary, grammar, or cultural topics.
3. Practical exercises: Conversations, role-plays, or written exercises to reinforce learning.
4. Discussion or cultural activity: We wrap up the lesson with a free discussion or a cultural activity related to the Francophone world.
5. Homework and recommendations: Small assignments for practice between lessons, along with additional resources.
What sets me apart as a tutor:
Being French, I not only teach the language but also the cultural nuances. I tailor my lessons according to your goals, whether for everyday use, professional reasons, or academic purposes. Furthermore, having experienced adapting to a foreign culture in the U.S., I understand the challenges of learning a new language and culture.
Who are these lessons for?
- Complete beginners looking to learn the basics
- Intermediate students seeking to improve their language skills
- Advanced learners wanting to perfect their French or dive deeper into French culture
