French and Japanese tutor! French teacher at Brentford - Anastasia - Brentford, Middx

Anastasia is in her final year of study at Warwick University (studying French with Japanese). I have known her for 5 years and have acted as her personal tutor for the last two years. Anastasia has a long-standing interest in teaching. She took part in the Language Horizons outreach programme run at Warwick last year, which involved her acting as a mentor to year 8 students in a local Coventry secondary school. The aim of the project was to raise the profile of languages amongst pupils who had become disengaged. I received the following feedback from the teacher:

'she is just fabulous, the students have said she is like Mary Poppins as they are captivated by her which is lovely.' and 'she was a huge hit with the students.'

I work closely with this particular teacher on a number of Outreach projects and respect her judgement absolutely. I think there is no better endorsement of Anastasia's capabilities as a teacher!
