About Christina
I am a psychology student currently completing my fourth year of undergraduate studies in hopes to continue concussion research in graduate school. Sports has been such a crucial part of my life since the age of 6. I had to stop hockey due to a concussion, therefore, I am currently weightlifting and powerlifting. I follow a holistic health approach in terms of overall wellbeing and am truly passionate and knowledgeable about psychology. I am currently holding a 87% average overall and over a 90% in psychology related courses. I want to help those who are struggling to find their niche. Allowing myself to teach students will help me gain confidence during the tasks of my teaching assistant positions during graduate school. I am a very patient individual and want to help in any way possible!

My teaching methods would typically follow a generalized discussion of a topic and work our way into specifics. For example, understanding “Behaviourism” typically requires historical knowledge before understand what exactly behaviourism is. Behaviourism has many subcategories (I.e., classical conditioning, operant conditioning, social cognitive theory), therefore, it is important to be knowledgeable from a general standpoint and work our way there. Additionally, learning certain statistical methods require knowing exactly conceptually what the significance of that methodology is before doing the whole statistical procedure.
