About Shawn
Fourth year Medical Student. Awarded NZQA scholarship, biology, painting and outstanding scholarship in English. Available to tutor premed papers: Biosci 107, Chem 110, Pop Hlth 111, Medsci 142, and MMI.
I'm an experienced tutor with a background tutoring students from Year 5 to Year 13 across a range of subjects, including biology, math, and English. Having tutored over 10 students through a private tutoring company, I understand the importance of tailoring my approach to fit each student’s needs. I also specialize in preparing students for the MMI, drawing on my experience and perspective as a current medical student.
I believe that adapting your learning style to the subject and the exam requirements is essential—this approach helped me succeed in gaining entry to medical school, and I’m passionate about sharing it with others.
