Fourth-year medical student offering personalized biology tutoring for high school, college, and graduate students

Tammy tutored me during my accelerated nursing program last summer. My schedule was crazy, but she always made herself available to work with me. She truly went above and beyond! She introduced me to Anki and even took the time to make personalized Anki decks to help me study. She would also check in with me throughout the week to see how studying was going and if there was anything I needed help with.

Tammy has a way of breaking down complex topics. Before working with her, I hated microbio and couldn't imagine finding a way to get all that info into my head but her real world examples really made learning the material less intimidating. She’s also funny and would come up with silly acronyms and memory tricks that actually made the material stick. You can tell she genuinely cares about her students and wants them to succeed. I can’t recommend her enough!!
