About Elena
I am a fourth-year Irish and Business teaching student, currently training to become a secondary school teacher, with experience in Gaelscoil and Gaelcholáiste education. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and achieve their potential through clear, supportive and exam-focused lessons. I have a strong understanding of the Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert syllabi, marking schemes and exam requirements. I aim to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace. I offer grinds to Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students, both through Irish or English, depending on individual needs.

My approach to tutoring is student-centred and exam-focused. I start by identifying the student’s strengths and areas for improvement, then tailor each lesson to suit their learning style and level. I break topics down clearly, use past exam questions and marking schemes, and focus on building confidence and exam technique.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, though this can be adjusted if needed. I am a fourth-year Irish and Business teaching student, with experience in Gaelscoil and Gaelcholáiste settings and a strong understanding of the current Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert syllabi.
Lessons are suitable for Junior Cycle and Leaving Cert students, including those in Irish-medium or English-medium schools, and are ideal for students who want to improve understanding, confidence, and exam results.
