About Louis
I'm a former university lecturer and classical language instructor with over 20 years of experience helping students achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Arts in Humanities from the University of Chicago, and a Master of Arts in Classics from the University of Southern California, where I also earned my PhD in Classics.
I've authored an intermediate Greek commentary on Plato's Ion and specialize in bringing Latin and Greek language and literature to life. I also offer deep expertise in Roman and Greek history, AP Latin, and standardized language exams. Beyond classical studies, I excel at essay writing, copy editing, college counseling, formatting and proofreading, college essays, and thesis development.
Having taught everyone from grade schoolers to doctoral candidates, I thrive on watching learners discover their potential. My greatest joy comes from guiding students until they become passionate, independent learners who own their educational journey.
