Charlie was my guitar teacher from the age of 15, he would come round weekly and taught me a range of techniques and improved my general knowledge of guitar playing and music in general.

I was then fortunate enough to join his band as a bass player when I was 18 (he taught me the basics of this too). We spent 3 years playing many gigs and recorded an album, and have remained great friends since.
