About Roy
I have been a tutor since I was in high school. In college, I was a calculus tutor (all levels) for 3 years and post college, I was an MCAT instructor, covering all science subjects. As a biochemistry major, I have a strong interdisciplinary background, able to meet the student at whatever level he/she is at.

I focus on problem-solving skills, honing in on areas of conceptual weaknesses. I utilize the Socratic method by asking pointed, astute questions that allow for broader applications. As a teacher, I help develop critical thinking skills, allowing the student to anticipate what they will be tested on.
