About Philippe
I have a PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I've spent 18 years on the physics faculty at Florida State University, the University of Cambridge and the University of Edinburgh. I've been tutoring since 2013.

I usually like to go through tutorial questions and problems with my students, as this gives me the best diagnostic tool to find out what they do not understand. We can then go over the relevant theoretical concepts. I'm best suited to give lessons at the A-Level and higher. For example, I've tutored students at the Higher and Advanced Higher levels, up to master's students in Medical Physics, Systems Biology and Finance Management.
