My Approach to Tutoring
I focus on creating a supportive, structured learning environment where students feel confident, curious, and motivated. My teaching style blends clear explanation, guided practice, and real‑world examples to help students truly understand the material rather than memorize it. I adapt each lesson to the student’s pace and learning style, using interactive discussion, visual aids, and step‑by‑step breakdowns to make complex ideas easier to grasp.
Techniques & Methodology
Diagnostic check‑ins to understand the student’s strengths and gaps
Personalized lesson plans tailored to individual goals
Active learning through discussion, examples, and applied exercises
Regular feedback to build skills and confidence
Emphasis on critical thinking, communication, and practical understanding
Lesson Length
Most lessons run 60 minutes, though I also offer 45‑minute or 90‑minute sessions depending on the student’s needs and attention span.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a former middle‑school teacher with classroom experience supporting diverse learners. I also have a master’s degree and a background as a researcher, with extensive training in public health education and English language instruction. Raised in the United States, I bring strong communication skills and a clear, natural command of English to every session.
