About Muqeem
I am a dedicated university student with a strong passion for teaching. Mathematics is my area of expertise, and I aim to dispel the notion that it is difficult or boring by making it easy to navigate and enjoyable. I am motivated to teach because I believe in the power of Mathematics to unlock access to other subjects as well as cultivate critical thinking and problem solving. I value building confidence and mastery in Mathematics by supporting students through clear, patient guidance. I take pride in being reliable, approachable, and committed to helping each student reach their full potential.

I tailor my tutoring sessions to each student’s individual learning style, recognizing that some students learn best through writing and practice, while others benefit more from visual explanations or interactive problem-solving. My tutoring methodology is based on breaking complex concepts into small, simple steps. Each lesson is one hour long. Previously, I have taught both underprivileged young children as well as high school mathematics students, so my lessons are suitable for students of all ages.
