Firstly I ask the student to bring in an example training session of their own so I can assess the level of football they coach within. During the first meeting we discuss their vision of how they want their team to play and discuss the theoretical underpinning to their approach to coaching. In subsequent sessions we can design training sessions together incoporating their vision and leadership approach.
