The first, free, session is an online Getting To Know You session where you tell me your aspirations and academic struggles, I explain my approach, and we determine how I can best help you, how many lessons you might need, and what the rates will be. (It may require only 1 or 2 lessons, but at the very most the 7 lessons from my Academic Breakthrough program, with a scaled rate if bought in a pack, including written materials, some video, and face-to-face meetings online or in person.)

My basic rate is for online help, with a higher rate if travel is involved (to your home or a public location). This approach is very different from the usual approach for academic tutoring, "homework help" and "methodology." Rather than help with study skills, "the Three Rs," or individual homework assignments (although I can help with History homework and research), this is about taking in the whole picture, tapping into deep internal motivation, and dealing with roadblocks not normally addressed in most approaches.
