- I strongly believe anyone can learn and love science, it is just a matter of figuring out HOW people learn. I strive to keep all types of learners engaged, whether they are graduate students who need nitty-gritty details or a high school student who is just trying to get through their science classes.
- Seeing and experiencing is how people learn! Expect visuals, animations, videos, and analogies.
- Depending on your needs, you can be as engaged as you want in my tutoring sessions. I could give whole lectures or we can run our tutoring sessions more like a one-on-one conversation.
- It been demonstrated that long, infrequent lectures are ineffective for remembering material. I encourage individuals to set up short tutoring sessions (~30-50 minutes) a few times a week or every two weeks.
- My educational material was created primarily for college students and high school students taking college courses, but I am happy to create material for younger audiences.
- Not only will you get the material you need to pass your classes, but I can also help you develop skills that will improve your overall academic performance (e.g., how to find useful educational resources, how to approach studying, how to ask good questions in your in-person lectures, etc.).
