My name is Ruby May Elliott and I am a Female who goes by She/Her pronouns.
I am someone with a profound passion for the performing arts, an individual who not only finds immense joy and fulfillment in various forms of artistic expression but also aspires to share that enthusiasm with others. This person is dedicated to fostering a love for the performing arts, with the genuine desire to inspire and help others discover the beauty and transformative power of performance. Through their commitment and passion, they aim to create a ripple effect, kindling the flames of creativity and appreciation in those around them.

My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and motivated to explore their potential. I understand the importance of tailoring lessons to different age groups and learning styles, ensuring that each child can fully participate and enjoy the experience.
I possess excellent communication skills, making it easy for me to connect with both children and their parents. I believe in transparent and collaborative communication to keep parents informed about their child's progress and create a supportive community around the dance and fitness programs.
Having recently studied VCE Theatre Studies myself, I am well versed in the current VCAA Study Design. I am available to aid students with any written work analysing plays, planning/development/presentation stage documentation and monologue blocking/feedback as well as aid in drafting and editing statement of intentions for the EOY monologue examination.
I have access to multiple exam practice resources which I can unpack with a student and later mark their individual responses so they can get feedback on their writing before the EOY written exam.
Classes go between 30 minutes and an hour but can be extended if needed. All classes are tailored to each student's specific requirements.
