About Tom
I am a calm and relaxed individual, and this is reflected heavily in my coaching style. I do not scream at people to ‘motivate’ them, I seek the correct combinations of words and analogies to allow them to truly understand the concepts I am teaching.
MMA is my great passion in life, and I love sharing that with other people. As a result, my sessions focus entirely on technique and practical application of MMA; I simply have no interest in teaching fitness and will not waste your time making you do squats or star jumps when you could be learning how to counter the jab, or how to take the back from a single leg takedown.

I aim to give you a full understanding of the main possibilities and variables in each situation and engagement, with a skillset that allows you to create answers to any questions that may be posed in a way that works for you as an individual.
I do this by teaching you each of the possible options, allowing you to decide which you like and which work for you, and then forming these into a thorough and cohesive system.
Sessions will be taken at Scramble Academy gym in Leeds unless specifically discussed otherwise; I am open to travelling, but note that this will incur an additional charge.
