About Ahren
I began playing music at age 5. I spent eleven years learning classical violin before transferring to guitar. Over the last 20 Years I have taught many students, played in several bands, and performed as a solo artist across north america.

I focus my teaching on keeping music fun! Giving students the most important skills they need to play music with others. I incorporate music theory and analysis into everything we play so students come away with a deeper understanding that transfers across pieces and genres.
I also hold a degree in music production and recording so if you are interested in learning some of that at the same time we can include it.
