About Quentin
I am a dedicated and reliable Piano tutor with 11 years of teaching and professional experience. I teach piano to school and college students and strongly believe in the power of music education.
A meaningful milestone in my journey was seeing students develop confidence and consistency through regular practice. These moments confirmed my passion for teaching.
My lessons focus on strong foundations such as finger control, rhythm accuracy, music reading, and musical expression. I also teach basic music theory clearly and simply.
I believe learning piano improves focus, self-discipline, and emotional growth. Music education helps students gain confidence both inside and outside the classroom.
My teaching style is calm, encouraging, and student-centred. I guide students step by step and help them enjoy learning while achieving their goals.

My piano teaching philosophy is adaptive, interactive, and creativity-focused, aiming to develop both technical skill and artistic expression. I emphasise communication, ensuring that students understand techniques, rhythm, theory, and expressive performance clearly. Lessons are personalised to the student’s learning style and pace, allowing beginners to build confidence and advanced students to stay challenged and motivated.
I incorporate real-life examples and case studies, such as performing songs students enjoy, exploring classical works, or examining music’s role in films and everyday life. In addition to piano, I teach sight-reading, music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, improvisation, and performance preparation, giving students a comprehensive understanding of music. My methodology encourages creativity, self-expression, confidence, and disciplined practice, guiding students to perform skilfully and enjoy a lifelong love of music.
