About Ivy
I’m a passionate Spanish tutor with 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Education in Spanish, dedicated to making language learning joyful for young children. I believe kids learn best when they’re having fun, so my lessons are filled with songs, games, and lively activities. I bring puppets and colorful props to each class, turning simple words into characters and stories that spark imagination. My interactive storytelling sessions help children absorb Spanish naturally, almost like they’re stepping into a little adventure each lesson. I focus on building strong pronunciation skills early, teaching sounds and words through playful repetition and songs they love to sing along to. Vocabulary building becomes a treasure hunt, while memory games keep young minds sharp and engaged. Each lesson is playful but structured, giving children both the freedom to explore and the guidance they need to grow. I love seeing the excitement when a child proudly says their first full Spanish sentence—it’s pure magic. For me, language isn’t just something to study; it’s a world to discover. And with the right mix of creativity and care, I believe learning Spanish can be as magical as storytime and as fun as playtime.

I bring Spanish to life through warm, interactive lessons that make learning feel natural and enjoyable. My approach blends storytelling, cultural exploration, and real-life roleplays to help students connect deeply with the language. Whether you’re learning Spanish for travel, work, or personal growth, I design lessons that keep you engaged and motivated.
From Latin American traditions to idioms that locals use daily, I weave culture into every session, turning vocabulary and grammar into meaningful experiences. I use visual aids, simple games, and conversation cards to make even complex topics feel approachable. My lessons focus on speaking from day one, helping you grow confident in everyday conversations.
I especially enjoy working with learners who are building a fresh start through the language, offering the guidance and patience they need to thrive. Every session is adapted to your pace, goals, and unique way of learning.
Together, we’ll break down barriers, celebrate small wins, and create a safe space to practice without fear. Learning Spanish with me isn’t just about words—it’s about opening doors to new opportunities and cultures you’ll carry for a lifetime.
