Uebung macht den Meister - Practice makes Perfect!! I assess a student to see where their difficulties lie and then work on those areas through drillings/practising. For oral LC German, I help put together potential conversation/topics and together we practise them to attain more confidence and fluency. For written work, I find the weaknesses and drill same. I am a fluent German speaker with an honours BA in German. I have been helping Junior and Leaving Cert students attain better grades for the last eight years. I have also helped prepare adult student for moving to German speaking countries.

My time with Bernadette was fantastic! She is not only a great tutor but also a lovely person who explains things in a very clear and simple way. Her insights into German culture and expressions were hugely beneficial for both my oral and written exams. I would 100% recommend her.
I took some classes with Bernadette to improve my German in preparation for a move to Germany. Bernadette structured our classes in a way that allowed me to practice speaking, improve my reading and comprehension, and learn grammar and vocabulary. I have noticed a huge improvement in not only my level of German but also my confidence in speaking. Bernadette put me at ease to practice speaking in German, helped me to see where I was making mistakes and showed me how to sound more fluent. I have now moved to Germany and rely everyday on what Bernadette taught me.
